FEBRUARY HALF TERM TRIAL DAY

Northampton Town Football Club's Football and Education Programme are holding open trials on Monday 12th February ahead of the 2018/2019 Season.

The trial day is free to attend and will be held at our St Crispin's campus. The trials day plays an active role in our recruitment and is an opportunity for current year 11 and year 12 students (current u16 / u17) to showcase their footballing ability.

As part of the trial day you will be given insight into what a day is like on our Football and Education programme, view our facilities first hand and undertake a session lead by the club's Academy coaching staff. The sessions will look at your technical ability as an individual, how you work in a team as well as challenging your knowledge of the game. The trial day will also be recorded to allow coaching staff to develop a clear picture of both your current ability and your potential.

Exceptional players who attend our programme may be given the opportunity to train with the Northampton Town Football Club Youth Team, with several members of the current Football And Education Programme squads taking part in these sessions on a regular basis. For those players who are talented this could provide an alternative route into our Youth Team as part of the club's Player Development Pathway.

Striker Lewis Irwin made the step up from Northampton Town's Football Education Programme to sign scholarship terms with Northampton Town Youth Team.

The Northampton Town Football and Education Programme is in its 6th Year.

The course was originally a Futsal & Education programme before progressing into the 11-a-side game, which is now in its 4th Year. The Course has grown rapidly over those 6 years and now has a full cohort of over 50 students.

We operate 3 programmes: Boys Football & Education Programme, Girls Football & Education Programme and a Higher National Diploma Course.

We are based out the Northampton Town St Crispin education centre, a 5 minute drive from the clubs ground. We are proud to be part of the only Full Time Professional club within the County and share the same coaching staff as the Northampton Town FCT Academy.

These links provide real time access to our the clubs Full Time Youth Scholars, meaning FEP students who excel, regularly get the opportunity to train with our Youth Team and impress the Youth Team Staff.
