QPR College Academy  Apply using the form below

QPR College Academy is a full time elite football and education programme.
Players aged from 16 - 19 get to live the life of professional academy scholars just like the QPR youth team combining their education and football development.
Based near Loftus Road Stadium, the players have football 4 days a week, which includes training and then competing in the FA National Football Youth League where they will play against other professional college academy teams.
When the players aren't taking part in their football programme they are studying for their BTEC Level 1, 2 or 3 sports qualification with education provider Academy1 Sport.
This is the first time QPR have ran their own college academy programme as similar to most professional football clubs they normally work alongside colleges and just provide football coaches, however this is QPR's own programme and the players are representing the club throughout their 1, 2 or 3 year experience.
The students engage at all different levels with the club from doing work experience, playing matches against the QPR youth team, talks regarding their career opportunities, diet & nutrition to attending first team matches as well as playing and training in the QPR kit.
Although this is the first year of the programme it has exceeded all expectation and there have been numerous highlights so far this year:
- 6 players completing their FA Level One coaching qualiftcion
- Reaching the National Football Youth League League cup semi final where we faced Liverpool
- Playing the clubs academy team at the training ground
- 2 players going on trial with the QPR Under 18 Youth Team
To top it off, at the end of the season the players will get the chance to play at Loftus Road for an end of season tournament.
This programme is to keep the players in full time education and to feel part of the club. We will create a pathway for the students to assist them in reaching their full potential within what ever their goals are. Some players want to to play football at the highest level, some want University options and some want jobs in sports so as a club we can give them the opportunities and knowledge to best support their development.
